That’s right. For too long now HostedFX has been setting the standard for just shared web hosting. It’s time we added a new dimension; Reseller web hosting.
This is just a quick notice that it’s in the pipework for a release soon. July will see reseller hosting added to the product line of HostedFX. And I almost forgot, reseller account will go on our brand new server

Automation Features of New Client Area
With the new client area brings something I have wanted for a long time – automation! In this post I will briefly outline the automated processed carried out automatically by the client area. If you have any suggestions, please feel free to comment – HostedFX will always listen.
Account Creation/Suspension/Termination
- New accounts will be automatically created, and the details emailed to you, after the first payment is due.
- Accounts will be automatically suspended after a payment is 2 days overdue.
- Suspended accounts will be automatically unsuspended the second an overdue invoice is paid.
- Accounts will be automatically terminated 90 days after the last payment was received.
Billing
- Invoices will be generated 7 days before the payment is sent.
- A reminder will be sent 1 day before the payment is due, if it has not been paid.
- An invoice ‘overdue message’ will be sent if payment reaches 1 day late.
That’s basically it. If you don’t agree with anything, please let me know
[Notice] Backup Hard Drive Replaced
This is just a quick message to let you know that we have just finished having our backup hard drive replaced on Server 1. There were a few SMART errors on the previous backup drive causing problems and slow points on the server during our daily backups over the past 2 days. As you know, HostedFX is committed to providing the best service for you and your website and have acted fast and efficiently with the datacenter to organise a replacement.
The replacement of the drive took place earlier this evening and resulted in just 9 minutes of downtime. We thank you for your patience during this time.
The Record Month of April
I thought it’d be nice just to let you guys know how HostedFX is progressing. I’m very pleased to say that we are growing very nicely – this is not only down to our committed service, but all of our current clients who recommend their friends and colleagues.
Furthermore, April 2007 was the most successful month in HostedFX’s history to date. We had an increible 94 new customer signups as well as current clients signing up for additional accounts. The results show what a huge success our 90% off promotion was.
Once again, thanks to all of those who have referred anyone to HostedFX, now it’s time to push even further together. Be assured that the personal service, and excellent features provided by HostedFX will never change. As an individual running a thriving business, I promise to never lose sight of what I have always wanted HostedFX to be – a reliable service, with a smile. Most companies tend to have professionalism or a personal touch – I strive to provide both, at affordable prices.
Server 1 – Optimization
Today the server has been configured and additional applications have been installed to make the server perform even better than it currently does. Firstly, phpaccelerator was installed on to the server, this will enable faster processing of all php files on the server. Secondly, the mySQL settings on the server were tweaked to allow great memory usage for mySQL. This means that applications that work based off mySQL (such as forum software, galleries etc) will now run faster and page load time will be shorter. This is the latest upgrade in our continued efforts to make our customers experience as pleasant as possible.
