SATP, I’m hard-pressed to think of a worse Foreign Minister than Downer in my lifetime. (Actually I’m hard-pressed to even think of any names, which should give you a clue. Downer’s the only one who trod on his dick AFAIK. Hayden? Did alright. Who was Fraser’s FM? It’s all a non-distinguished but fairly competent blur.)

Wow, I could probably write for an hour on this, but I’ll try to keep it short. To anewsr your question, “is God pleased?” I would have to say, no, I really don’t think so. This kind of thing is intentionally inflammatory, like he’s looking for a fight. While I certainly think that God wants us to stand strong for His truths, I see no evidence that He wants us to go pick fights “in His name.”Anyway, the other problem I see is that this kind of statement (which I have seen before) is not very well considered. It sounds good to a certain mindset, but it doesn’t go very deep. Is he trying to say that belief in God should be a requirement for Citizenship? If so, which God/god, or what ideas about God are OK? Should a 10th generation American citizen be kicked out if they decide they are an Atheist? Should anyone be welcome here if they believe in God (whatever that means to them)? Think about all the implications of something like that!You are correct, I do also believe that he has every right to do something like that, but let’s be honest, it’s a foolish thing to do, and not a good idea at all.

Must say the weather up here in Scotland has been quite good lately . . . which might explain the rain down there

I would definetly say HostedFX abides by these rules (before they even existed my emails are usually always answered within 15 minues (even at the craziest times!) and always receive a proper resolution to whatever issue I may have had.
